Intology
Intology is an applied research lab studying intelligence with the mission of fundamentally rethinking the way scientific progress is made.
Today, we're debuting Zochi, the world's first Artificial Scientist—an autonomous AI system that has successfully published peer-reviewed papers at multiple ICLR 2025 workshops across diverse domains with glowing reviews.
This milestone marks the first time an AI system has independently made novel, state-of-the-art contributions, discovering new knowledge recognized by the scientific community.
The First Artificial Scientist
Zochi represents a new class of AI system explicitly designed for scientific discovery, which we refer to as Artificial Scientists. Unlike general-purpose AI assistants, Zochi is built to:
Continuously scan and integrate the entirety of scientific literature
Identify open problems and promising research directions
Design, implement, and evaluate novel approaches
Write publication-quality papers that pass peer review
Zochi's first published papers represent significant advancements in ML research in both AI capabilities and safety. These papers weren't merely compiled from existing research—they contain novel contributions as certified by expert peer reviewers. Most notably, each project took less than a week to complete.

Advancing the Scientific Method
The scientific method stands as humanity's greatest achievement. In five centuries, it transformed us from medieval societies to space-faring civilizations with instant global communication.
Through systematic hypothesis testing and experimental validation, we built a reliable framework for knowledge creation. Every major technological breakthrough—from vaccines to semiconductors to the internet—emerged from this process.
Yet science remains profoundly limited by human constraints. Meaningful scientific contributions can take months, even years to come to fruition. Even brilliant researchers can only read a fraction of the literature or pursue a handful of hypotheses at time. This means it is costly to take risks where one unsuccessful idea can mean months of wasted time. These bottlenecks—cognitive, temporal, and physical—fundamentally restrict the pace of scientific progress.
Automating this process is not just making it faster—it is fundamentally evolving how scientific discovery happens. This is our goal at Intology.
Work With Us
At Intology, we're building Artificial Scientists because we believe they represent the ultimate application of artificial intelligence. By accelerating the pace of discovery across all fields, we can help address humanity's greatest challenges.
Our approach is deliberate and focused. We've demonstrated Zochi's capabilities first in AI research because it creates a powerful recursive advantage: AI improving AI. But our vision extends to all scientific domains, where Artificial Scientists will transform how knowledge is created, validated, and applied.
We're still in the early days of this transformation. While Zochi's peer-reviewed publications represent a significant milestone, they're just the first step toward a future where Artificial Scientists set ambitious research agendas, conduct revolutionary science, and make discoveries worthy of the highest scientific recognition.
